A Catholic Schoolgirl emerged as the recipient of the GoWATCH Film seed grant and the Qcinema International Film Festival's QCSHORTS Competition for Gender Sensitivity Award. I was privileged to collaborate with director Myra Soriaso to illustrate her poignant short film.

The design aimed to portray Kaya, an exemplary student, coveted by the sisters as a potential candidate for sisterhood. Through intricate visuals, we depicted Kaya's journey and envisioned ascending into the celestial realms under their guidance. However, she grapples with her emotions towards her mentor, a school nun, ultimately confronting her inner turmoil in the pursuit of light and self-discovery.
